Candidate research alpha
Privacy and data use
A plain-language summary of what Haeckl collects during recruitment and participation.
When you apply
We collect the contact and qualification information you submit so we can select and contact research participants. We do not ask for a résumé, employer, precise address, demographic profile, or government identifier.
If you participate
The product records interactions needed to understand the interview-format experience: files opened, edits, terminal commands, tests, logs used, AI-coach conversations, timing, and the final submission. The research alpha does not capture audio or video.
How the information is used
Alpha information is used only to evaluate and improve Haeckl’s product and research process. It is not provided to an employer and must not be used to rank, recommend, reject, advance, or otherwise make an employment decision.
Retention
Application records are deleted within 30 days after candidate-alpha recruitment closes. Before a session begins, its consent screen will state the retention period for session telemetry, submissions, survey responses, and debrief notes.
Your choices
Participation is voluntary. You may ask to access, correct, or delete application information by emailing support@haeckl.com. Questions about the research experience can be sent to support@haeckl.com.
Experimental status: Haeckl’s candidate alpha is an early research environment. Do not submit secrets, confidential employer code, or personal information inside the exercise.
